More decent colors vs Black & White [Updated July 3rd 2019]
In the original post I showed the portrait in color. There was some feedback that in Black&White the background probably is less distracting. Bellow both versions… I agree with the people that commented, this one works better in Black & White.
I really like your photo on 6/30 post (Decent Colors), and can’t help wondering what if the background of this photo is B/W instead.

mmm… I preferred to have this in color… in B/W… probably even less distractive…
My eyes kept skipping the subject and going directly to leaves and staying there. ;-(

Love the tonal range, but like Helen (in her comment), I did find my eye going to the spray of leaves in the left-hand side of the background. Strange in some ways as it’s an excellent portrait.
maybe I will extend this post by a B&W version…
